So as promised I stopped by ACME BREAD in BERKELEY and boy Oh boy is that place dangerous. It wasn't that long ago that I was freaking out at the thought of eating a piece of bread and let me tell you that feeling has gone down the drain. There was a line to get into the place, but still the cute girl took the time to answer all my silly questions about the bread. I asked for a sandwich type bread and she suggested a sourdough I bought it but have yet to try it because I ate half of the other loaf that she suggested which is an olive bread. Oh boy the olives were meaty and not dry, again the olives were not dry, i've had dyer olives in a martini.

A Challenge: No Knead Bread.

I am inviting you to try making your own no knead bread. Sure you have never made bread before, so what neither have I. If you have heard anything about making bread you know it's a tiring process, hours and hours of kneading. But Mark "The Minimalist Bittman" introduced the no knead bread back in 2006 at NY TIMES and a few days ago he went back to Michel Suas, founder of the San Francisco Baking Institute to get his perspective. Michel Saus has worked with Mr. Sullivan and Nancy Silverton of La Brea Bakery and now Mozza. Watch the videos and be inspired to make your very own no knead bread. Tomorrow or the next day I will visit ACME Bakery Company on my way to Berkeley College. I will tell you all about it and of course post some pictures. Bansky Sets Up Theatre In A Tunnel Under The Waterloo

Bansky has set up a movie theatre in a tunnel under The Waterloo to screen his movie "Exit Trough The Gift Shop" A few hundred people have already seen the film, you had to be one of the special tools who knew about the film that screened at The Sundance Film Festival I of course couldn't get it in, I'm not artistic enough or toolish enough to know, I was being paranoid stuck in chalet in Deer Valley, or maybe it was the night that I slept in a closet, hell I can't remember but I did get to have a photo shoot of my own tossing my myself around in the snow in front of the Bansky somewhere on Main St. I was taking pictures of the people taking pictures and for a second was pretending it was my close up. Anyways here is what SKY has to say about the theatre.

Wowzie. The Environmental Working Group has released a cell phone radiation list super easy to use just type in your model, hello, hello, hello, the database will expose the levels of radiation your cell phone is emitting. The answer may surprise you. Im surprised to know that my iphone is up there but not as bad as the BLACKBERRY BOLD 9700. So what does this mean?
